It was a no-call. They barely touched and there's no way on earth Jordan could maintain legit position on Zeke in the open court.
The maddening thing as a Pistons fan was how the broadcasters were such willing participants in David Stern's marketing script. You'd see a replay, and it didn't match the narrative. Because Jordan was ALL. One of the greatest defensive plays I've ever seen was when Jordan took a wing jumper, and Dennis Rodman fought over a screen and blocked it 20 feet from the basket. NOBODY did that to Jordan, and damn few guys could even make Jordan resort to a screen. But fucking Dick Stockton just murmured something about "Jordan losing the ball" while the Pistons were breaking the other way.
Uhh David, Yeah, Zeke was the shit. Jordan had no chance against ol' Magic-kisser.
And btw (you worst city in the history of this country loving genius), you might want to acknowledge that the Pistons beat the Bulls for years (and won two F-ing titles mind you), in your so-called "Stern marketing" scripted NBA.
I'm from from Milwaukee so naturally I hate Detroit and Chicago. But I loved Jordan. No one has ever performed any task, large or small, better IMO than how Jordan played ball. A mad skill set and the wickedest competitive drive that simply never stopped... Ever.
So quit your bitch whining there sunshine. Isiah was a grade A dirty little wussbag flopping drama queen bitch btw. Dumars would have been a far better reference from that era. Just sayin'... :)
You talk out your ass, ya may get called on it Einstein. Jordan couldn't guard shrimp-ass Isiah freaking Thomas, or "Zeke" (since you're such close friends)... Colossally stupid comment.
Zeke, and Rodman mind you, are such lovely human beings too btw. Lovely. Like I said, stick with respectable sorts like Dumars and you may not come across as a homer moron.
Btw, my condolences that you live in or have some allegiance to that abject cesspool of shit called Detroit... :) Go Lions :)
So what you're saying is that the difference between a flop, and a sell job would be the amount of flailing as you're hitting the floor? Both are acting jobs trying to get a call rather than being in legitimate position to take a charge. If I were the ref, I'd have swallowed the whistle and let them play.
Czabe u r reaching here. That wasn't close to a flop.
ReplyDeleteI don't see the foul here....except that it was Jordan defending, of course he gets the call.

Is Rodman the best defensive player, ever?

(Laughing at a gif of Larry Krystkowiak repeatedly tearing his knee up against the Pistons.)
DeleteStay classy, pal. Perhaps you'll have better luck stirring things up when you have an NBA franchise in your fine city.

Hey now! Mayor Barrett's trying his best to make Milwaukee as pathetic as Detroit!

ReplyDeleteOh, and I forgot to add, "no homo".
