The vuvuzela.
Ah yes, the melodious, joyful, er PLASTIC, horn given out to spectators.Buy some for your kids! Annoy your co-workers! Get some vuvuzela lessons for Father's Day!
BRRRRRRrrrrrrrrbbbblllllrrrrrrr!
After 2 matches at the world cup, we have 2 goals, and two ties.
Feel the magic.
Apparently it wasn't enough...

ReplyDeleteOur office has 2 55" plasma monitors in our team work areas which are typically tuned to CNN, but get used for big sporting events like March Madness and World Cup. Normally I can tune out the games and work, but that buzzing din drove me crazy yesterday. Is there any way for ESPN/ABC to filter this - maybe with a giant pair of Bose noise canceling headphones?
ReplyDeleteAs if the game itself weren't enough to chase youi away, they add those gawd-awful horns to the mix!
