Louisiana State Bird: Brown Pelican. Makes sense. Remember the limerick? A wonderful bird is the pelican. His beak can hold more than is belican. He can take in his beak. Enough food for a week. But I am damned to see how the helican.
The Hornets were my team back in the day. Still hold it against Shinn and New Orleans for stealing my team. So I don't care what they name the team, bring the Hornets back to Charlotte. Have to say, never seen a pelican eat a bird. That was pretty cool. Pigeons suck so no loss there.
