Oh, never mind the fact that Orton was under siege all night on Monday from a relentless and formidible Raider front four. Never mind the fact that it's quite possible Tebow will do WORSE than Orton. And never mind the fact that an NFL game is dependent upon up to 48 different players, and an entire coaching staff all doing their jobs better than the other 48 players and staff across from them.

ReplyDeleteWhy do you hate Tebow so much? Granted the tone of your article isn't really one way or the other, but I get the impression that you, like a lot of people, hate Tebow so no real reason. True?

ReplyDeleteAs a Broncos fan, let me start by saying that Denver isn't going to contend for anything this year. Kyle Orton isn't ever going to get "it" done. The best he can ever be is a stop gap QB (like your boy, Sexy Rexy). Start Tebow all year and see what he is. If he is horrible, and he most likely is, Denver gets to contend for the number 1 pick and Andrew Luck.
One big plus that you fail to mention about Tebow... The lives of everyone in the Bronco huddle will be better for it with Tebow calling the plays.
I agree - why not start him over a QB that everyone KNOWS is not very good and never will be?
ReplyDeleteWhile I live in the Denver area I am not a Bronco fan. Don't people realize that from all appearances Tebow is not the backup but is 3rd string behind Brady Quinn. Everyone seems to want to skip over Quinn to get Tebow into games for some reason.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see how much the old coach (McDaniels) messed up a team for a couple years due to his horrible personnel moves.
Czabe, don't confuse volume(noise) for popularity. Yes, Tebow sells a lot of jerseys, but remember you're always going to hear more from the unhappy people than the happy people.
