  3. All they had to do, is get the first down with 2 minutes and change left, and they would have won. So what do they do? Run the ball. You have Peyton Manning for God's sake, USE HIM! I'm sorry, this is another example of a coach being a pussy at the end of a game, and loosing the game because of it. This game is on Fox, hands down.

  4. I disagree OH. All they had to do was stop a 70 yard pass, and a guy made a horribly stupid play. Running the ball moved the clock down to where they had a 98% chance of victory. Throwing and incomplete would have left almost 2 min on the clock and reduced the chance of victory significantly. It was a no-brainer. You can make that argument in some cases, but in that case it was cut/dry.

  5. Flat out - Manning is done. Just needs 1 first down to end it with 2 minutes left and audibles to a run. And then in the first half too - 30+ seconds left to get into field goal range with PAYTON MANNING and you kneel down. Matty Ice just did it in his game with 2 passes, 20 seconds. Show's Payton is done - he simply has no arm left.

  6. boss hogg.
did you watch the nfl season at all? mannings arm is done? he's only had one of his best years he's ever had and will prolly finsih second in the nfl mvp race. 27 other teams in the league would kill it have him as their qb

  7. I would want my team to pass on the Regular Season Stat King!. Peyton has proven over and over again he is the worst Modern Era Playoff QB. I would not be shocked if he has the most 1 and outs. and the most Multi-Int Games in the playoffs. When the pressure is on, he always crumbles.

It was a fact he audibled on that 3rd down play.. It was called in as a pass- manning admitted this.
It was also a fact he threw a Favre-esq! pass with game on the line, when he had all day to throw the ball away.

  8. Does anyone else remember the episode of Inside the NFL earlier this season when Peyton was mic'ed up?

He rolled right, threw late over the middle, and it ended up as a TD to Decker.

The mic picked him up saying to Decker "That's the one thing you're never supposed to do, throw late over the middle. But sometimes, when you're a 15-year veteran, you just gotta say f**k it!"

    OOPS.

Nevertheless, I voted for Raheem Moore. Denver had the game won. That was the absolute worst play by a safety I have ever seen in an NFL Playoff game.

He looked like a little leaguer playing his first-ever game in right field, misjudging a fly ball and falling over.

  9. I suffered through John "Teflon-Coated" Fox for years at Carolina Panthers and his "it is what it is" still annoys me. He's an o.k. coach I guess but he's still a huge tool in my book. Denver laid a huge egg yesterday and should have never gotten schooled AT HOME the way they did by the Ravens. Do we really need anymore adulation-material for freaking Deacon Ray Lewis?
